BIO

Coach Erika Stuckman concluded her fifth season at the helm of the University of Mobile Rams Women's Basketball program during the 2022-23 season. She joined the program in 2016 as an assistant, and became interim head coach during the 2018-19 season. 

Prior to arriving at Mobile, Stuckman played collegiate basketball at NCAA D-II institution Tuskegee University. She then transferred to Florida A&M University to pursue a BA in Public Relations. Upon graduation, Stuckman began her coaching career with the Florida Suns, an elite travel team competing regionally and nationally. After achieving success with the Suns, Stuckman joined the coaching staff of Florida Team Impact. 

Since arriving at UM, Stuckman has coached an NAIA All-American as well as 15 All-Conference players. As an assistant, Stuckman helped coach the Rams to an SSAC Championship in 2017, followed by an appearance at the NAIA National Tournament in Billings, Montana. She was also in charge of the 2017 Summer Elite Camp. She served as co-director, handling the set up and operations aspects. Stuckman's other duties also consisted of preparing for practices and coordinating game-day operations. 

During the 2018-2019 season as interim head coach, Stuckman led the Rams to a winning record in conference play, an improvement of five games from the prior year and made it to the Final Four round of the SSAC Conference Championship Tournament. Three players from her first squad earned SSAC All-Conference honors and five SSAC All-Academic honors. 

In the 2019-2020 season, Stuckman led the Lady Rams to a winning record of (17-9) overall and (9-8) in conference play and followed that up with a (12-8) overall record during the 2020-21 season. During the 2021-22 season, Stuckman surpassed 50 wins as head coach at Mobile, finishing with a 14-11 overall record. 

Stuckman is a native of Gainesville, Fla.

  • 70-64 overall record as head coach.
  • Coached one SSAC Defensive Player of the Year.
  • Coached 15 SSAC All-Conference players.
