Men's Basketball Falls Short in SSAC Tournament

Mobile Drops Semifinal Game Against Life University

MULTIPLEX AT CRAMTON BOWL | MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The University of Mobile's SSAC Tournament run came to an end Friday afternoon, as the Rams fell to Life University 90-52 in the semifinals.

Shooting Struggles

Mobile struggled to find its rhythm early, as Life jumped out to a commanding lead with a 52-point first half. The Rams shot just 29.8% from the field and 16.1% from beyond the arc, unable to keep pace with the Running Eagles' efficient offense.

BJ Comer led Mobile with 12 points, while Ezra McKenna added 11 points and six rebounds. Freshman Zion Hunter lead the Rams in rebounds and assists, grabbing 7 boards and providing 3 assists.

Looking Ahead

With the loss, Mobile concludes its conference tournament run and now awaits its postseason fate as NAIA national tournament selections approach.
