JACOBS FIELD | MOBILE, Ala. -Â On Saturday, the Rams finished up a three-game series against the University of Tennessee Southern Firehawks. On Friday, the Rams took both games of a doubleheader giving them the series win but unfortunately fell in the third game of the series with a final score of 6-2.
The first inning left the score 0-0 with both pitchers dealing on the mound. Brody Swindle recorded an early strikeout as he has been one of the go-to guys for Mobile this season. In the second inning, Swindle got a backwards K, but the Firehawks would go on to score a run. In the bottom of the 4th inning, Mobile had a couple base runners get on but ultimately ended up in a double play.
