BIO

TJ Jackson will begin his 10th season leading the University of Mobile Men’s and Women’s Golf programs during the upcoming 2024-25 season after serving as the head coach of the South Alabama Women’s Golf program for 15 seasons. At South Alabama, he produced 10 all-conference selections and 36 WGCA Scholar-Team honorees. Jackson prepped at Davidson High and played collegiately at Kentucky, Spring Hill, and South Alabama.
 

Mobile (2015-Present):

  • Head UM Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach.
  • Heather Nail earned an individual bid to the 2016 NAIA National Championship.
  • Noah Whittington named SSAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for 2019-20.


Prior to Mobile:

  • Head women’s golf coach at USA for 15 seasons
  • 10 All-Conference honorees
  • 36 WGCA Scholar-Team honorees
  • Top-three finishes at the Sun Belt Championship in 2012-13 and 2013-14
  • Eight top-10 finishes in 2014-15
  • Coached both men and women in 2002-03

Playing Career:

  • 1989-94 on the NGA Hooters Tour
    • 6 top-10 finishes

    • Individual State Champion in 1981 and 1982
    • Team championship in 1982
