Kristen Black is a recent graduate from the University of Mobile where she was a member of the softball program for five seasons. She begins her first season as assistant coach under Alison Sellers-Cook during the 2025 campaign.
Black is a native of Saraland, Ala. and a 2019 graduate from Saraland High School. She later graduated UM with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and is pursuing a Masters in Instructional Design and Technology. Kristen’s time playing for the Rams produced many accolades, including being a part of the record breaking 2022 National Championship Runner-Up Team. She was also named to the All-Academic Team for five years, SSAC First-Team All-Conference Team, and SSAC Champions of Character Team for two years.
