Terri McCormick

After helping the University of Mobile to a second-place finish at the 2008 NAIA National Championships and trips to the 2011 and 2012 tournaments, McCormick will begin her seventh season at the helm of the University of Mobile softball program. She has guided the Lady Rams to a 204-100 mark.

McCormick is a 1997 graduate of the University of Mobile and became the softball program’s first three-time NAIA All-American.  After playing volleyball at Mississippi College for two years, she transferred to play softball at UM in 1993. In 1996, McCormick was named GCAC Player of the Year. McCormick earned both her bachelor’s degree in sports medicine and her master’s degree in education from UM.

McCormick was also an integral part of the development of the Spring Hill program during the first three years.  She helped lead the inaugural team to a Top-25 ranking in 1998, and in the second season helped lead the team to a 3rd-place finish at the NAIA National Championship.

McCormick’s other experiences include executive director of the North Mobile YMCA, management with the United Parcel Service, and softball coach at Satsuma High School.

The Satsuma, AL native is married to UM graduate Ken McCormick.
