Dyneisha Barrett started as University of Mobile Assistant Athletic Trainer on July 1st, 2023. In this role, she assists Head Athletic Trainer Rob Delong with providing athletic care for all 21 competitive sports and over 400 student-athletes. She also helps out by serving as a preceptor for the Master of Athletic Training program here at the university.
Prior to Position at University of Mobile
Prior to her arrival at the University of Mobile, Barrett was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of West Alabama where she worked with the XC, Track and Field, Volleyball, and Cheer teams.
About Her
A native of Chunchula, Alabama, she attended and graduated from Baker High School. She would go on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at the University of Southern Mississippi in 2021. In 2023, she completed her Master of Science in Physical Education with an Emphasis in Athletic Training at the University of West Alabama.
