MOB @ BPC

Following the win over Middle Georgia State, the Rams hit the road to Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, Ga. Prior to arrival, Mobile ran into some traveling issues as they were forced to sit on the side of the interstate for approximately three hours with a blown bus tire. The scheduled mid-afternoon match against the Barons of Brewton-Parker was delayed until the late afternoon hours.

After finally arriving to Mount Vernon, Mobile showed no signs of fatigue as they managed to dominate the Barons in straight sets, 25-10, 25-6, 25-9. Offense was much more consistent on Saturday as the Rams finished with a .337 team hitting percentage.

Carli Rouse recorded a .333 hitting percentage, notching a team-high 12 kills in the win. She was the only Ram to record over six kills in the victory. Aleah Kennedy recorded four kills, hitting .500 on the afternoon while Abby Andrews finished with five kills in the win. Sarah Warren once again led Mobile in assists, managing 25 assists in the three sets, giving her an average of just under nine assists per set on the week in a 6-2 offense. Mobile played a totaled of 10 sets on the week.

Defensive was strong for Mobile on Saturday as they held the Barons to 10 points or fewer in the three sets played. Melea Meadows recorded a team-high nine digs in the win while Sarah Warren finished with eight, second-most on the team. Mobile managed 10 blocks, three coming from Jordan Wood.

Mobile's overall conference record sits at 9-4 currently, just one game back for a tie for third place.
