MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The University of Mobile Women's Basketball team fell to the Faulkner University Eagles 80-71 on Saturday, Feb. 19 in Montgomery, Ala. The loss drops the Rams' overall record to 14-10 in end the regular season as Mobile enters the upcoming SSAC Women's Basketball Championship Tournament with a 8-8 conference record, earning the No. 6 seed.
In the defeat to Faulkner, Erica Jones led the Rams with 16 points while D'Mya Ferguson recorded a double-double with 11 points and a team-high 13 rebounds. Mobile as a team shot 35% from the floor and 64% from the free-throw line. Faulkner won the rebound battle, 43-42.
The 2022 SSAC Women's Basketball Championship Tournament, presented by Newk's Eatery, is scheduled for Feb. 23-26 at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala. Mobile is set to battle the third-seeded Talladega College on Thursday, Feb. 24 at 8:00 p.m. CT.

- Mobile wins the tiebreaker with Brewton-Parker due to their win over Loyola during the season.
