MOBILE, Ala. - The University of Mobile Volleyball program officially released the 2024 season schedule on Monday, Aug. 5, with the Rams beginning action with a road scrimmage on Aug. 13. The regular season is scheduled to begin on Aug. 15 with a four-match tournament across three days in West Palm Beach, Fla. The team, led by 20th-year head coach Jon Campbell, finished last season with a 20-12 overall record and as the runner-up in the 2023 SSAC Volleyball Championship Tournament.
Mobile will see first action as a team on Aug. 13 with a local scrimmage against Coastal Alabama Community College. Following that, the Rams travel to south Florida for the Vipers Sports Academy Classic, hosted by Keiser University (Fla.) in West Palm Beach, Fla. where the 2024 season officially begins with a match against Keiser on the morning of Aug. 15. Mobile will play four matches in West Palm Beach before hosting the annual Ram Invitational the following weekend and play five-straight home matches from Aug. 22-24. Mobile's final tournament of the regular season comes from Aug. 31 - Sept. 1 in Miami Gardens, Fla. where Mobile plays four matches in the South Florida Invite hosted by St. Thomas (Fla.).
The SSAC portion of the schedule opens with a home match against Life University (Ga.) on Sept. 6, with a match at home against Point University (Ga.) set for the following day. Mobile will play 13 total conference matches during the 2024 season and are scheduled for 32 regular season matches total on the year. The season finale is scheduled for Nov. 4 against Southern University of New Orleans (La.) on the road.
