SAVANNAH, Ga. - The 2024-25 SSAC Men's and Women's Bowling award winners were announced on Thursday evening, Feb. 20, with Madison Bruner of the University of Mobile Women's Bowling team highlighting the evening for Mobile.
Bruner, a first-year Ram out of Great Falls, Mont., was named the SSAC Women's Bowling Rookie of the Year for her solid performances on the lanes throughout her first collegiate season. In addition, Bruner was named to the SSAC Women's Bowling Second-Team All-Conference Team, becoming the first bowling student-athlete in program history to earn all-conference honors.
Additionally, several student-athletes from both teams at Mobile were selected to the Barnes & Noble College All-Academic Team for surpassing the required GPA in the classroom during the season. Those student-athletes can be found below:
