West Palm Beach, Fla. – The University of Mobile volleyball team opened the 2025 season with a dominant showing at the Keiser University Tournament, winning all four of its matches to begin the year 4-0. The Rams picked up wins over Keiser, Grace, Southeastern, and Florida National across two days of competition.

Match 2: Mobile 3, Grace 2

The Rams returned to the court later that evening for a marathon five-set battle against Grace University. Mobile took the opening set 25-23, but the Lancers responded with a 26-24 win in the second. The Rams controlled the third 25-16 before Grace forced a deciding fifth with a 25-16 win of their own.

In the final frame, Mobile trailed 10-14 and faced four match points before a timeout by head coach Jon Campbell. The Rams stormed back with six unanswered points to stun Grace, winning 16-14 to secure the 3-2 victory (25-23, 24-26, 25-16, 16-25, 16-14).

Peyton Frazer powered the offense with a team-high 19 kills, while Corrina Porch-Maxey added 10 kills — including the 1,000th kill of her Mobile career. Freshman setter Hannah Ellis stepped up with 22 assists alongside Emma McPherson's 25 as the Rams effectively split setting duties.
