THE JUNGLE | MOBILE, Ala. - A midweek meeting between old rivals would kick off in The Jungle last week with the Rams taking on the Badgers. There is always no love lost between the two sides when they meet, and this time would be no different with plenty of fouls and cards shown to the two teams throughout the 90 minutes. Despite the fiery atmosphere, it was a one sided contest as Mobile dominated their visitors on the pitch, earning a 3-0 win at the end of the night.
The Rams hit the ground running in this one as Tiziano Klamler opened things up in the 4th minute. Tiziano received the ball from Manuel Cordeviola inside the box and, after moving the ball around the defender, he would strike it past the goalkeeper's right to make it 1-0.
Mathis Devargas would add to the lead in the 17th minute on a poachers goal from close range. Tiziano Klamler would turn goalscorer into assister as he would hit a cross low into the 6 yard box where Mathis was waiting to tap home to make it a 2-0 game.
The final goal of the match would come from Eugenio Cazares in the 45th minute as he broke through the Badgers defense in the midfield before chipping the onrushing goalkeeper to end the scoring.
