MOBILE, Ala. - The University of Mobile Athletic Department officially announced a new partnership with Genesee Nutrition on Friday, Dec. 27, a leading provider of athlete-focused protein bars. The collaboration will provide student-athletes at the university access to premium sports nutrition products, empowering them to optimize performance and recovery.
As an official nutrition partner of the Rams, Genesee Nutrition will supply the University of Mobile with its high-quality, great-tasting protein bars, each packed with 20 grams of protein. These bars are designed to support the health, recovery, and performance of student-athletes, ensuring they have access to clean, reliable nutrition as they strive for excellence on and off the field.

In the partnership, UM Athletics will benefit from exclusive discounted pricing to replenish team inventories and explore opportunities to generate revenue through resale on campus.

Student-athletes at the University of Mobile can purchase bars before or after training sessions at a cost of $2.00. Additionally, the University of Mobile Strength and Conditioning program will be selling the bars at home games for students and fans to support. The cost for non-athlete students and fans is $3.00. Flavors included peanut butter and cookies and cream.

The University of Mobile Strength and Conditioning program's goal is to maximize athletic performance and minimize injuries. Each sports program at UM all train at Bedsole Performance Center on the University of Mobile campus. The facility first opened in August 2022, with the program continuing to add more equipment for our student-athletes. Workout programs are tailored to each sport and individual to enhance each student-athlete's performance along with focus and character.
