MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Aidan Farmer of the University of Mobile Men's Golf program was named SSAC Men's Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The award is based on performance for the week of Sept. 16-22.
In the first tournament of the 2024-25 season, the University of Mobile Men's Golf team competed in a one-round individual tournament in Gulfport, Miss. last week, which saw junior Aidan Farmer finish tied for first overall on the par 72 course at the Windance Country Club. Farmer was one of four Rams to secure top-10 finishes in the season opening tournament as the field saw 33 total entrants. He finished with a +2, collecting a pair of birdies.

- This is first-career honor.
- Farmer tied for 1st at the Windance Gulf Shootout, hosted by Loyola (La.).
- He shot two over par (74) in the stroke play tournament, recording two birdies and 12 pars in 18 holes.
- The weekly conference honor for Farmer is the University of Mobile Men's Golf team's first since Noah Martino in spring of 2022.
