Rams See Defeat at the Hands of Crusaders

Men's soccer falls 2-0 in SSAC rivalry match

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The University of Mobile Rams faced off against the Crusaders of William Carey on Saturday afternoon in a match up between two bitter rivals. Unfortunately for Mobile, they would not walk away the happier of the two sides as they fell 2-0 in a loss that sees their season record move to 4-7 overall, while they are now 3-2 in conference.

Mobile were able to find opportunities in the match, taking six shots in each half, but were unable to convert them as the Crusaders would score in the 24th and 55th minutes to seal a victory over the Rams. The three shots on target came from Joseph McMahon, James Kwakye, and Guido Solaro. Sam MacDonald got the start in net and tallied 6 saves for his side, keeping the scoreline a close affair between the sides.
