Men's Soccer Falls to LSU Shreveport

Rams suffer 3-1 defeat at the hands of Pilots

SHREVEPORT, La. - The University of Mobile Men's Soccer team fell 3-1 last night against the Pilots of LSU Shreveport. The loss moves the Rams to 1-4 on the season with the Rams set to play just one more non conference match before beginning SSAC conference play.

Mobile struggled to get a foothold in the match with the Pilots taking a 2-0 lead into halftime. Mobile would cut the deficit down to one in the second half through Salman Nader, who scored his first goal as a Ram. The Pilots would seal the match in the 65th minute with their third goal, as the Rams were unable to find their way back into the match.

The Pilots outshot the Rams 19-7, while also leading in corner kicks 8-2. The Pilots were able to disrupt the Rams offensive momentum through a number of fouls.
