Rams Suffer Tough Road Loss Against Seahawks

Men's soccer falls to 1-5 on season after 6-0 loss to Keiser

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The University of Mobile Men's Soccer team fell 6-0 to the Seahawks of Keiser University on Friday afternoon. The Rams see their record slide to 1-5, with SSAC Conference play set to begin next week.

For Mobile, the match continued to showcase many of the struggles that have plagued the side early on this season as they fell behind to the Seahawks in just the 2nd minute. The Seahawks would double their lead before the Rams managed to get their first shot at goal in the 17th minute. The first 45 minutes would continue much the same as Keiser took a 4-0 lead into halftime.

The second half saw Mobile manage 5 shots at goal with the first shot on target coming from Oscar Hartley in the 68th minute. Senior defender Joaquin Rivera forced a save out of the Seahawks goalkeeper in the final minute, with the Rams seeing themselves getting shutout by an opponent for the third time this season.

Up Next for the Rams

The Rams will face the Seahawks of Keiser University in their next match on September 19th at 1:00pm CT in West Palm Beach, Florida.
