HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The University of Mobile men's soccer team dropped a close 3-2 match to Indiana Tech on Friday afternoon at a neutral-site contest hosted in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. With the loss, the Rams fall to 1-3-0 on the season.
After a scoreless first half, the Rams wasted little time after the restart. In the 52nd minute, Guido Solaro gave Mobile the lead with a well-placed finish, marking his first goal of the season. Indiana Tech equalized from the penalty spot shortly after, but the Rams quickly regained momentum in the 67th minute when Joe McMahon struck from inside the box following an assist from Solaro.
Indiana Tech, however, responded with two goals in a four-minute span to secure the 3-2 victory despite a strong showing from Mobile's attack.
Sam MacDonald recorded five saves in goal for the Rams, while McMahon led the team with five shots, including two on frame. Mobile finished the match with 11 shots total, seven of which came in the second half.

The Rams are on the road for their next two matches as they face LSU Shreveport in Shrevport, Louisianaon September 12th, before traveling down to West Palm Beach, Florida to face Keiser University on September 19th.
