MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Twenty-one student-athletes will represent the Southern States Athletic Conference on the 2021-22 SSAC Student Leadership Council, including three from the University of Mobile Athletic Department, the conference announced on Thursday, Sept. 23.
Each of the 10 member schools designated 2-3 representatives to serve. Mobile's Adi Argent (Women's Golf), Brinkley Hearn (Volleyball), and Emma Riley Hollingsworth (Competitive Cheer) was named to the council this year as representative of the University of Mobile with Adi Argent serving as the council's vice president.
SSAC Commissioner Mike Hall: "We are excited to work with this year's group to strengthen them as leaders and implement their ideas to continue to improve our conference."
About The Council
- Eleven different sports are represented
- The council will conduct business through monthly Zoom meetings
- The council will provide a collective voice of student-athletes to the conference office and administration of the member schools
