Visit Wichita will play host to this season's battle for the red banner as all the action will be held at the Scheel's Stryker Soccer Complex in Wichita, Kan.
After a 4-0 home victory in the second round of this year's national tournament, the University of Mobile Men's Soccer team opens play with a Round of 16 matchup against Milligan University (Tenn.) on Monday at 1:00 p.m. CT. Mobile (15-2-2) enters play in Wichita riding a 13-match winning streak, having not allowed a goal in each of the last four matches played. Monday's match against the Buffaloes of Milligan (17-2-3) is just the fourth meeting all time between the two programs, the first since the 2010 season. Mobile has managed wins in each of the first three matches played, and will look to advance in this year's tournament with a victory over Milligan on Monday. Due to snow accumulation on the championship field, the NAIA has announced that all eight games on Monday and Tuesday will be played inside the indoor facility at the Scheel's Stryker Soccer Complex.
Mobile is one of four programs in Wichita this year to have earned a NAIA National Championship in the past and enters the national tournament final site this year sporting the most NAIA Tournament wins with 37. Additionally, Mobile has played more games than any other program in Wichita with 62 total matches. The Rams have finished as the runner-up in the title match in each of the last two seasons.
