MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) released the 2023 SSAC Women's Track and Field award winners on Thursday, May 4, highlighted by senior Anna Cabrera who was named the 2023 SSAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year. In addition to individual honors, the SSAC announced all-conference selections for women's outdoor track and field following the 2023 season, with the all-conference teams being based off how athletes finished in the events at the 2023 SSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships last week. First place student-athletes earned first-team selections, with second place earning second-team and third place earning third-team selections.

Additionally, nine Rams were named to the SSAC's Barnes & Noble College All-Academic Team this year for excelling in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year. Those from UM Women's Outdoor Track and Field featured as all-academic student-athletes are listed below:
