THOMASVILLE, Ga. - Offense was hard to come by on Saturday, Sept. 16 as the University of Mobile Men's Soccer team and Thomas University (Ga.) recorded a scoreless draw in Thomasville, Ga. Saturday's match was the first conference meeting between the two programs, with Thomas joining the SSAC last offseason. Previous to this year's conference meeting, Mobile and Thomas have met 14 times in history, with the Rams owning the series with an 11-3 record over the Night Hawks. Saturday's draw became the first time a tie has been recorded in the two teams' history with one another.
For Mobile, the scoreless draw is the Rams' second in the last three matches played. The overall record falls to 2-2-2 this year for the ninth-ranked team in the NAIA.
