MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the sixth slate of 2024-25 SSAC Games of the Week, presented by Herff Jones, with the highly anticipated men's soccer matchup between two top NAIA teams on Friday earning recognition.
The University of Mobile Men's Soccer team is set to face off with SSAC foe Dalton State College (Ga.) on Friday evening, Oct. 11 in Dalton, Ga., with the Roadrunners recently being ranked No. 1 in the latest NAIA Men's Soccer Top 25 Coaches' Poll. Meanwhile, Mobile jumped four spots in the latest poll, now sitting at No. 3 in the NAIA. The battle between No. 1 and No. 3 is largely considered the national game of the week in the NAIA Division. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT.
On the season, Mobile has put together a 10-1-1 overall record, while Dalton State sits at 9-0-1 on the year. The Rams have found the net 41 times in the 12 matches played, led by Emilio Cazares with 12 goals and Joseph McMahon with 11. For Dalton State, the Roadrunners have scored 30 times this season, led by Leonardo Seixas with six goals. Both Mobile and Dalton State average 18 shots per contest this season.
Defensively, the Roadrunners have allowed just four goals, while Mobile has surrendered seven. Both teams have notched seven shutouts during the 2024 campaign.

- Mobile is tied for the top spot in the current SSAC Men's Soccer standings with 15 points (5-0-0), while the Roadrunners are tied for 3rd with 10 points (3-0-1).
- For Dalton State, Leonardo Seixas and Kazuma Ishizuka have both tallied 13 points each to pace the team, while starting goalkeeper Nicolas Leite has only allowed the four goals in 10 starts.
- For the Rams, Joseph McMahon (11 goals, six assists) and Emilio Cazares (12 goals, three assists) lead Mobile with 28 and 27 points, respectively. Defensively, Ty Turner has made 28 stops in net and allowed only seven goals in 11 starts.
- Mobile leads the all-time series with Dalton State, recording a 7-3-0 overall record against the Roadrunners. The two teams have split the last four matches played with a 2-2-0 record.
