APALACHEE REGIONAL PARK | TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The 2025 Men's Cross Country season is officially over for the University of Mobile Rams as they come away from the NAIA National Championship with a 35th placed finish. The Rams capped off another strong season with their second straight national championship appearance after winning their second ever SSAC Championship in back-to-back seasons. For the Mobile Men's Cross Country team, the past two years have seen major improvements under second year Head Coach Leith Rawson, who has led the Rams to their first two conference championships in program history.

For the second time this season, the Rams have raced the course at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida, and much like earlier in the season, the team struggled to keep up with their normal paces as all 7 Rams recorded slower times than normal. Despite the struggles face by Mobile's runners in the meet, the efforts and dedication showed by the team to reach this stage has been nothing short of phenomenal. The Rams will have a lot to be proud of after this season and there is a great foundation for the future being put in place by the coaching staff that can help the Rams as they move on to next season.

Men's 8000m Results:
123rd - Joey Jones (26:06.4)
250th - William Givens (27:13.8)
277th - Denzel Sawyer (27:57.5)
289th - John Spillers (28:14.5)
299th - John Vickers (29:10.5)

304th - Peter Eckhoff (29:49.5)
313th - Jaiden Harrell (31:00.3)

Up Next for the Rams

The large freshman class of 2025 will look to show further improvements ahead of next year's 2026 campaign where the Rams will try to compete for their third straight SSAC championship. The Rams do however say goodbye to several members of the squad who will be graduating before next season with seniors Joey Jones, Michael Kitchen, Denzel Sawyer, and Henry Woodall all set to see their Mobile Cross Country careers come to an end.
