KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA has announced the official final rosters and entry lists for the 2025 U.S. Marines NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships on Wednesday, Feb. 19, with the University of Mobile Indoor Track & Field program seeing one member featured. This year's NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships will be hosted by the Gainesville Sports Commission and will take place at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, Fla. from February 27 – March 1.
After his first-place finish at the SSAC Championships last weekend, junior Joey Jones was named as a qualifier for NAIA Nationals this season, qualifying in the men's 3,000 meters event. Jones sat atop the podium in the long distance race at the annual conference meet, setting a time of 8:51.25 in the process.The Mobile, Ala. native was listed as the 20th and final entrant in this year's national field.
Jones is scheduled to compete in the prelims of the men's 3,000 meters at 3:40 p.m. CT on Friday, Feb. 28, with finals being set for 2:15 p.m. CT the following day. You can watch the 2025 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships HERE.
