How It Happened
The Rams set the tone early on Thursday, taking a 41-35 lead at halftime and never looking back. Mobile's efficient shooting from beyond the arc (11-for-24, 45.8%) and strong rebounding performance (45 total rebounds) helped propel the Rams past the Night Hawks, who saw the season come to an end. Mobile finished with a 42.8% team shooting percentage, while Thomas finished below 40% in the loss.
BJ Comer led the Rams with 20 points, including a perfect 11-for-11 from the free-throw line, while Treylan Smith added 16 points, knocking down four three-pointers. Ezra McKenna was dominant on the boards, finishing with a game-high 19 rebounds along with 12 points for a double-double performance. In total, Mobile saw five players finish in double figures as Jarvis Moss (12 pts) and Zion Hunter (11 pts) tallied a combined 23 points from off the bench.
Defensively, Mobile held Thomas to just 23.8% shooting from three-point range and forced key turnovers down the stretch to maintain control. The Rams' largest lead of the game came in the second half at 15 points, sealing their place in the semifinals.
