Rams Compete in Montevallo Falcon Classic

MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The University of Mobile Cross Country programs took on the Montevallo Falcon Classic on Friday evening, with the meet being held at the University of Montevallo Cross Country Course.

The men's team placed 3rd in the meet with a total of 80 points. The Rams finished ahead of host school Montevallo and a mixture of NCAA, NAIA, and 2-year schools. Senior Joey Jones again led the team with his 3rd place finish while Joe Stevens wasn't far behind placing 6th.

It was an 8th place finish for the women's team as they totaled 208 points. Junior Claire Atkins saw a major improvement in her time as she ran a 19:40.00, placing her 12th in the meet.
