Women's Golf Takes 3rd Place at Skyhawks Fall Invitational

LANETT, Ala. - The University of Mobile Women's Golf team finished in 3rd place during this weekend's Skyhawks Fall Invitaional with Anna King leading the way with her 8 over par performance.

Tournament Results

As a team, Mobile finished the tournament shooting 72 over par. Grace Bryant led all Rams on day one, shooting 3 over to sit in a tie for 5th heading into Sunday's round. Anna King wasn't far behind her teammate as she was tied for 10th with a 5 over par first round. 

On Sunday, four Rams moved up the leaderboard to help secure a 3rd place finish for the Rams in their season opener. Freshman Maeva Constantinoff shot a second straight 11 over round to finish 22 over par and tied for 21st. Meanwhile Lora Lee Williams also shot an 11 over round to finish the tournament in a tie for 28th place.

Final Standings

5th - Anna King (+8)
14th - Grace Byrant (+15)
21st - Maeva Constantinoff (+22)
28th - Lora Lee Williams (+27)
48th - Georgia Taylor (+48)

Up Next for the Rams

Women's Golf will be back in competition on September 22-23rd as they compete in the Carey Collegiate presented by Walk-On's in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
