SSAC Championship Run Ends in Semifinals for Women's Tennis

Rams defeat ABAC before falling to Loyola

MOBILE TENNIS CENTER | MOBILE, Ala. - The 2026 SSAC Women's Tennis Championship saw Mobile open up the tournament against the #6 ranked Stallions of ABAC. As the #3 seed, the Rams found no trouble taking care of business against ABAC, winning 4-0 to move on to the semifinals against the Wolfpack of Loyola University of New Orleans. Returning on day two of the tournament, Mobile once again got things underway at 10am CT as they faced a tough Wolfpack side. Despite the best efforts of the Rams, they would fall 0-4 in what would be an emotional end to the season for the Rams.

Up Next for the Rams

Mobile Women's Tennis will close out their season with a scrimmage against Coastal Alabama Community College as the Rams celebrate Senior Day. That match will start at 3:00pm CT on April 23rd at the Gerald L. Wallace Tennis Center.
