MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The seeds are set for the 2022 SSAC Men's Soccer Championship Tournament, presented by Newk's Eatery. Dalton State earned the No. 1 seed as the SSAC Regular Season Champion and William Carey took the No. 2 seed. The top two seeds earn a first-round BYE to begin the postseason. Mobile, ranked No. 6 in the NAIA, earned the third seed of the conference tournament and the right the host a first-round game this upcoming Thursday, Nov. 3.
The Rams finished the regular season with a 12-2-1 overall record and a 6-2-0 conference record. Mobile's two losses came via 1-0 matches against both No. 1 Dalton State and No. 10 William Carey. With Mobile holding the No. 3 seed of the conference tournament, the Rams will host the sixth-seed of Faulkner University on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. CT. Thursday's first-round match will be broadcasted live at https://team1sports.com/umobilerams/.
SSAC Men's Soccer Championship Tournament Basics
No. 1 Dalton State and No. 2 William Carey receive a BYE to the semifinals, while No. 3 will host No. 6 and No. 4 will host No. 5 on Nov. 3-5. Semifinals (Nov. 9) and Finals (Nov. 11) will take place at Emory-Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex in Montgomery, Ala.

Tiebreaker Rules
Blue Mountain and Faulkner both tied with eight points following the regular season. The teams tied in their head-to-head matchup this year. Next is goal differential up to three in conference games, and the Toppers won that -6 to -7.
