With an early 2-0 lead for Mobile, Dalton State managed to cut the deficit in half with their lone goal of the match in the 30th minute. From there, the Rams had the edge at halftime, 2-1.

In search of an insurance goal in the second half, the Rams finally managed to score their third and final goal in the game in the 84th minute, putting pressure on Dalton State with a two-goal lead with six minutes remaining. Freshman Madison Beaver scored the insurance goal for Mobile, her third of the season. From there, the score held up to hand Mobile the 3-1 win.
