RTJ MAGNOLIA GROVE GOLF COURSE | MOBILE, Ala. - The University of Mobile Men's and Women's Golf teams hosted the annual Ram Spring Invite, presented by Palmer's Toyota Superstore, on Feb. 24-25, competing against seven teams in each tournament on the Rams' home golf course at RTJ Magnolia Grove.
The men's team managed a top-five placement in the two-day, three-round tournament, while the women's team placed eighth overall on the par 72 course. The tournament is just Mobile's second during the spring portion of the 2024-25 schedule.

Men's Tournament Recap
Mobile finished 22 strokes above par at this year's Ram Spring Invite, while eventual winner Faulkner University (Ala.) dominated the three rounds with a -18 as a unit. The Rams' starting five saw two golfers finish in the top 10, led by Cooper Douglass with a seventh-place finish. Douglass tallied a -2 in the tournament, with his best round coming in round three where he shot a 68. Aidan Farmer finished close behind Douglass tied for eighth place, tallying a -1. Farmer managed a 71 in each of the first two rounds. Lane McLaughlin and Jackson Clemmons followed with top-30 performances, with McLaughlin finishing +12 and Clemmons tallying a +13. Brantley Betts rounded out Mobile's starting lineup in 43rd with a +27.
Due to playing on their home course, the Rams saw four individuals compete in this year's hosted tournament, with results being listed below:
Women's Tournament Recap
On the women's side, Mobile finished 142 strokes above par as a team, while Loyola (La.) won the tournament with a +55. For the Rams, Anna King led the way by placing 15th overall with a +23, while Lora Lee Williams recorded a +31 in 27th place. Grace Bryant finished one spot behind Williams with a +32.
Kristen Rachel and Georgia Taylor round out the women's starting lineup, with Rachel tallying a +64 in 42nd and Taylor finishing +70 in 43rd. No individuals competed from the women's team.
What's Ahead
For the men's team at Mobile, the Rams will be back in action on Mar. 10-11 at the Men's Carey Collegiate in Hattiesbrug, Miss., while the women's team competes at the 2025 Spring Golden Tiger Collegiate in Gainsville, Ga. on the same days.
