Beach Volleyball Season Ends in NAIA Invitational Quarterfinals

Mobile Beach Volleyball Concludes a Fantastic Season with First Ever National Tournament Appearance

GREENVILLE, TN - The University of Mobile Beach Volleyball season came to an end yesterday afternoon with the Rams falling in the 2025 NAIA Beach Volleyball Invitational Quarterfinals against Southern Oregon. Mobile competed in Pool B during the initial pool play round consisting of three total matches against Corban, The Masters, and Webber International. The team finished with a record of 1-2 to set them up in the quarterfinals with a match against the No. 8 seed Southern Oregon.

A Season in Review

This year marked the first time in program history that the Rams qualified for the NAIA Beach Volleyball Invitational Tournament with the team finishing the regular season ranked 6th in the final NAIA Top 10 Coaches' Poll. Mobile was dominant during the regular season with a record of 21-4 while going 12-0 during conference play. The 5 seed pairing of Jaci Drinnon and Rachel Dunaway became the first pair in program history to go undefeated throughout the entire regular season while the pairings of Layton Adams/Aspen Adams, Emma Hampton/Gabby Sheffield, And Jaci Drinnon/Rachel Dunaway all stayed undefeated during regular season conference play. Mobile earned the SUN Conference regular season title while also earning runners-up finishes in the SUN Conference Tournament and the AVCA Small College Beach Tournament. 


The University of Mobile Beach Volleyball team says goodbye to several seniors who graduate in May, with all of them having an impact on the program during their time here. This year's seniors are Layton Adams, Aspen Adams, Emma Todd, Dazsha Dean Middleton, Lexi Gillette, Jenna Schuliger, and Haley Jones
