Mobile v. Blue Mountain Named SSAC Women's Soccer Game of the Week

Thursday Matchup Featuring Rams and Toppers Tabbed as SSAC Women's Soccer Game of the Week

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the eighth slate of 2022-23 SSAC Games of the Week, presented by Herff Jones, with the University of Mobile Women's Soccer match versus Blue Mountain College on Thursday taking the title of SSAC Women's Soccer Game of the Week. Mobile versus Blue Mountain is scheduled for Thursday afternoon, Oct. 27 and is the regular season finale for both teams. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. CT in Blue Mountain, Miss.

Thursday's match is an important one for the Rams, in search of a win ahead of the SSAC Women's Soccer Championship Tournament. With a win, Mobile will earn a host-bid for the first round of the conference tournament. A loss will hand Mobile the No. 5 seed for the conference tournament with a match on the road looming. The Rams are currently riding a three-match losing skid and will look to break that against the Toppers on Thursday.

  • Mobile is 4-3-0 in SSAC play with 12 points, while the Toppers of Blue Mountain are 2-5-0 with six points.
