UM Softball's Road Doubleheader on Friday Moved to Sunday

Mobile v. Blue Mountain Moved from Friday to Sunday Due to Weather

BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. - The Blue Mountain College Athletic Department announced a schedule change to this weekend's softball doubleheader in Blue Mountain, Miss. as the Toppers of Blue Mountain College are set to host the No. 8 University of Mobile Rams.

Mobile and Blue Mountain were originally scheduled to meet for the first time this season on Friday afternoon, Mar. 18 for a conference doubleheader. However, inclement weather forecasted for the northern Mississippi area has forced the doubleheader to be pushed back two days to Sunday afternoon, Mar. 20. Game one is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. CT on Sunday, with game two to follow at 3:00 p.m. CT.

On Saturday, Mar. 19, the Rams are scheduled to play a conference doubleheader against Stillman College beginning at 1:00 p.m. CT in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Following Saturday's doubleheader, Mobile will travel a couple hours north to Blue Mountain, Miss. for Sunday's two games against the Toppers of Blue Mountain. Currently, the Rams are 22-0 and ranked No. 8 in the latest NAIA Softball Top 25 Coaches' Poll. Blue Mountain currently sits with a 9-5 overall record and is receiving votes for entry in the NAIA Top 25.
