COLUMBUS, Ga. – The SSAC baseball regular season concluded over the weekend, and the seeds and schedule have fallen into place for the 2022 SSAC Baseball Championship Tournament on May 4-7 at Historic Golden Park in Columbus, Ga. The University of Mobile Baseball team earned the sixth seed out of eight competing teams in the conference tournament, while Faulkner earned the top seed as the 2022 SSAC Baseball Regular Season Champions.
The Rams of Mobile finished the 2022 regular season with a series win over Blue Mountain this past weekend at Jacobs Field, finishing the Rams with an overall record of 25-18 and conference record of 11-13 this season. Mobile will open the tournament up with a game against conference rival William Carey on Wednesday, May 4 at 1:00 p.m. EST / 12:00 p.m. CT.
