University of Mobile Baseball Announces 2025 Season Schedule

2025 Season Set for UM Baseball

MOBILE, Ala. - The University of Mobile Baseball program officially released the 2025 season schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 7, with the Rams scheduled to begin the year at home on Jan. 31 with a four-game series against non-conference opponent Freed-Hardeman University (Tenn.). The team, led by second-year head coach Kyle Friday, finished last season with a 19-21 overall record after claiming the program's first-ever SSAC Baseball Championship in 2023. Mobile saw the 2024 season end in pool play of the SSAC Baseball Championship Tournament, but did manage to end the year with a 10-5 victory over eventual NAIA Baseball National Championship Qualifier Faulkner University (Ala.).

Following the four-game series at Jacobs Field to open the season, Mobile is scheduled for an additional four-game series at home against Montreat College (N.C.) from Feb. 7-8. Mobile's first road games of the year comes at Talladega College (Ala.) on Feb. 11. Overall, the Rams are set to play 50 regular season games during the year, with conference play in the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) beginning with a three-game series at home against Thomas University (Ga.) on Feb. 14. The SSAC Baseball Championship Tournament is scheduled for Apr. 30 - May 1 in Jackson, Tenn.
